One of the developing relationships we’ve been establishing is with our printer, Recycled Paper Printing. They are an environment-conscious printer with multiple printing plants across New England. We’ve printed many pieces with this vendor. All business is done over phone and email. Yesterday we printed a job that required me to be on press.

It has been 4.5 years since I moved back to New York from Boston. Yesterday, I went back there for one day trip. Early waking and catching a 6:30 am train felt strangely routine. My journey felt a lot more important when I noticed I was sharing Acella train with the suits. My jeans and T-shirt seemed oddly out of place.

No matter how often I go to the press checks, I find printing presses endlessly fascinating. I especially love the control panels and icons indicating the hand trauma you’ll get should you come curiously close. Check out documentation here.
