Core 77 In The Studio

Core 77's lovely feature of us draws on their visit to our studio and conversation with Deroy and Julia. They did a great job capturing the laid back vibe of the office, and particularly enjoyed our music, bar, and backyard, perfect for summer grilling and get-togethers.

Core 77 made sure to highlight our particular design ethos, merging of design with social entrepreneurship, and our aim to help changemakers tell their story through a unique visual language. They were impressed in particular with our work for GOOD, and for our Voices of Youth project, commissioned by UNICEF. Core writes, "The set of symbols Hyperakt designed are interesting, colorful, and work together to speak towards the larger issues that are at the heart of UNICEF."

Perhaps best of all, Core 77 looked beyond our list of clients and commissioned projects, showing an interest in our more personal projects. They focused on Hyperakt Labs, as well as on our recent project to create a visual identity for educators in "Teach" for Studio 360. Core 77 also features our Lunch Talks, the monthly informal discussions we hold between design speakers and local community members.
