Hyperakt at the Democratic National Convention

Deroy's 'New Hope' posters have gotten a lot of attention from all over the world ever since we posted them up on our blog. Recently, we were asked by the Manifest Hope Gallery to submit the poster for display in their exhibit at the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO. Partnered with MoveOn.org, the Manifest Hope exhibit, housed in Denver's Andenken Gallery, utilizes art and media to shine a light on the current spirit of "Hope, Change, Progress, Unity and Patriotism" inspired by the Obama Presidential Campaign. Works by artists such as Gary Baseman, Shepard Fairey, and yours truly were judged by Moby, Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore, Guggenheim Curator Nancy Spector, DJ Spooky and artist Ross Bleckner among others. Proceeds from sold pieces will be donated to the Obama campaign.

Update: Check out pictures from the Manifest Hope gallery courtesy of our friends.
