The chaotic aftermath of World War II left millions of civilians starving. A group of American charities collaborated to provide the immediate relief by shipping boxes full of food and other vital supplies - the original CARE package.
The modern NGO CARE International has moved to become one of the largest providers of humanitarian aid around the world. The organization sponsors over 1,000 poverty-fighting initiatives in 84 countries, with a particular emphasis on empowering women with better healthcare, education and microfinance programs.
We worked with CARE to develop a tool to help their development officers explain the importance of CARE to potential donors. We found that staff often used iPads to walk through their pitch. So we designed a series of infographics that provide a visual walk through of the story of CARE: its differentiating factors, its rich history, and the Impact Fund, its signature campaign for unrestricted funds.
