Jason Lynch

Jason is a highly skilled craftsman with an incredible attention to detail and a passion for illustration. At Hyperakt, he leads teams of designers on a wide range of projects, including, most recently, web design for the Ford Foundation website, visual identity for iMentor and the Vera Institute of Justice.

A combination of craft and whimsy led Jason to create Smidge Co, a Hyperakt Labs project. Borne of his love of experimentation and working with his hands, the Smidges are a family of three dimensional pop up cards sold at myriad boutiques, including the design store at MoMA.

Prior to receiving a degree in graphic design at the School of Visual Arts in New York, Jason studied illustration at the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design. His work has won numerous awards from the Society of Illustrators, FPO, HOW, Print, and the Art Director’s Club of Denver. Jason lives in Morningside Heights with his wife Robin and dog Utah, and loves being outside, biking and hiking.
