Ambika Roos

Ambika guides the strategic services and planning for each project at Hyperakt. With a meticulous attention to detail, she manages client relationships, and ensures a seamless strategy, design, and development process. She loves applying her knowledge of international development to her passion for creative design.

Ambika is a graduate of Brown University, where she studied strategies to effect positive social change with architecture, design, urbanism, and international development. She wrote an honors thesis on networks of community advocates for water rights across urban India.

In 2009, Ambika helped establish A Better World By Design, a conference that unites Brown and RISD students with global leaders in design. Over the past 5 years, A Better World by Design has cultivated a strong global community of socially-conscious innovators, gathering 1000 attendees for an immersive 3 days in Providence. Ambika now lives with her boyfriend Ted in a big 'ol Brooklyn brownstone, and loves exploring the the nooks and crannies of the city.
